Dashboard Overview
How to navigate, understand, and make the most of your dashboard for insights
The Big Picture
Promptmonitor dashboard is your central workspace for tracking your brand’s AI visibility. It gives you a quick overview of visibility, performance trends, and next actions, all in one place.
The left-hand navigation menu is designed to give you quick access to everything you need, without leaving your project.
What You See on the Dashboard
Current Project & Switch Icon
At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see the currently active project (for example, Remote3). This shows which brand the dashboard data is currently displaying. From here, you can:
Confirm which project you’re viewing
Switch between projects if you’re tracking multiple brands
Instantly load visibility data, mentions, and analytics for another project
When you switch projects, the entire dashboard updates automatically to reflect that project’s AI visibility and performance.

Track New Prompt
This is the primary action in Promptmonitor. Use this button to:
Add a new prompt for tracking
Start monitoring how your brand appears in AI-generated answers
Unlock deeper AI visibility insights as you track more prompts

Home
Home takes you back to your main dashboard view. Here, you’ll find:
A quick snapshot of your brand’s AI visibility
Recent performance highlights
Progress toward unlocking deeper insights

Overview
The Overview page provides a high-level summary of your project’s performance. You can use it to:
View your average visibility score
Track visibility trends over time
See how your brand performs across different AI models
Identify top competitors mentioned alongside your brand
See how your brand is perceived in AI responses (positive, neutral, or negative).

Actions
This section highlights opportunities to improve your AI visibility. It helps you:
Spot prompts where competitors outrank you
Identify areas for optimization
Take data-backed steps to increase brand mentions in AI responses

Sources
Sources shows where AI models are pulling information from when mentioning your brand. Use this section to:
See which websites influence AI-generated answers
Understand source coverage and authority
Identify gaps where new content or partnerships may help

Web Analytics
Web Analytics connects AI visibility with your broader web presence. Here, you can:
Analyze how your website and content support AI mentions
Understand how web performance influences AI responses
Monitor website traffic in real time
Track AI and bot traffic
Track human visitors (privacy-first)

LLM Analytics
Large Language Model (LLM) Analytics breaks down your performance by individual AI models. This allows you to:
Compare visibility across ChatGPT and other supported LLMs
See which models mention your brand most often
Track model-specific trends over time

Manage Project
This section gives you control over your project settings. Here, you can:
Update project details
Adjust tracking preferences
Manage project configuration

Team
The Team section is where collaboration happens. You can:
Invite and manage team members
Manage projects within a team
View team plan and usage limits
Manage billing and subscriptions
Update team settings (name, preferences)

Feature Request
Use Feature Request to suggest improvements or request new features directly from the Promptmonitor team.

Documentation
This section provides access to guides, walkthroughs, and product explanations to help you get the most out of Promptmonitor.

Changelog
The Changelog provides a detailed record of product updates, feature releases, improvements, and bug fixes across Promptmonitor. It allows users to stay informed about new functionality, enhancements, and platform changes as they are rolled out.
This section helps you track ongoing development and understand how the product continues to evolve over time.
